,I Love Kherson, Kherson Loves Me, is a series of dialogues about long-distance love where one participant (KAR)
drinks wine, listens to birds, and gazes at rivers, while the other participant (Kherson) dies every day. For KAR, this
series represents her self-loathing for indulging in wine, walks, and the air of controlled freedom while children and
people die in Kherson. The series remains open; the artist experiences this self-loathing in each city (residency) and
creates one textile piece from local materials about how she spends the month and how, during that month, children
and people die in Kherson. Currently, the series includes six works:
