Anastasiia Romanenko
Ukrainian pianist, artist-researcher, educator, and curator of cultural projects.
I combine artistic practice, research, and cultural leadership through interdisciplinary initiatives that connect music, education, cultural heritage, and social engagement. As an Associate Professor of Piano at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, I work at the intersection of performance, artistic research, and international collaboration, developing projects that promote Ukrainian culture and strengthen dialogue between artistic communities across Europe.

Anastasiia Romanenko is a Ukrainian pianist, artist-researcher, educator, and curator of cultural projects based in Kyiv. She is an Associate Professor of Piano at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, where she combines artistic practice, research, and higher music education.
Her work explores the intersections of piano performance, artistic research, musicology, cultural memory, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is particularly interested in the role of music as a tool for cultural dialogue, resilience, well-being, and international cooperation. Her research integrates perspectives from musicology, cultural studies, neuroscience, and music and health, investigating innovative approaches to artistic practice and creative learning.
Alongside her academic career, Anastasiia develops and curates cultural initiatives promoting Ukrainian music and fostering international artistic dialogue. Among her recent projects is Reality in Artistic Images (Kyiv, 2026), an interdisciplinary initiative that brought together musicians and visual artists to explore artistic responses to contemporary reality and cultural memory.
She actively participates in international conferences, educational programmes, and artistic collaborations, believing that meaningful innovation emerges through dialogue across disciplines and cultures.
Her long-term professional goal is to develop sustainable international cultural projects that connect artistic excellence with social engagement, cultural diplomacy, and heritage preservation.
