Written by Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is accepting applications for the “Flagship Events” programme, which supports festival projects dedicated to prominent Ukrainians, commemorative dates, state anniversaries, professions, or crafts. Application deadline: 22 February 2026. Total programme budget for 2026: UAH 59 million.
The objectives of the “Flagship Events” programme are:
- Strengthening the cultural identity of the Ukrainian people and affirming national values and historical memory through the support of large-scale and flagship events that shape a shared cultural space, consolidate society, enhance social cohesion, and contribute to citizens’ mental resilience during wartime and the post-war recovery period;
- Supporting cultural projects that, in times of war, become a resource for social solidarity, the preservation of cultural heritage, psychological support, and the restoration of people’s mental well-being;
- Increasing the number and strengthening the professional capacity of cultural and creative industries professionals capable of initiating, producing, and delivering large-scale and flagship cultural events at national and international levels, as well as developing local cultural ecosystems;
- Building a positive international image and reinforcing Ukraine’s cultural agency through the implementation of innovative, high-quality, large-scale events that meet contemporary global standards, gain international recognition, and demonstrate Ukraine’s creative capacity in a global context.
The programme consists of two lots:
LOT 1 “Large-Scale Cultural Projects”;
LOT 2 “Landmark Dates and Figures
Who can apply:
- Applicants may be legal entities of any form of ownership or individual entrepreneurs, each registered in the territory of Ukraine in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation for at least two years as of the date of the call announcement (excluding the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine), and having relevant experience in the cultural sector.
