Charity Art Festival
Kyiv Day in Brussels is a vibrant cultural festival that unites Ukrainians through art, music, literature, and shared memories of their hometown. The program combines an open mic for poets and musicians, performances by headline artists, an art exhibition, a book and craft fair, interactive cultural activities, and a charity auction featuring contributions from well-known Kyiv personalities. The festival celebrates the resilience and creativity of the Ukrainian community in Belgium while building bridges between Kyiv and Brussels through culture and solidarity.

Our ambitions for ’Kyiv Day in Brussels’ 2027 are to significantly scale and expand the festival while keeping its focus on contemporary Ukrainian urban culture. We aim to invite acclaimed artists directly from Ukraine as well. We also plan to create a large-scale multimedia performance inspired by Kyiv, bringing together Ukrainian artists living in Belgium through video art, sound, poetry, and immersive experiences. In addition, we seek to expand the festival venue, attract more artists and volunteers, and grow our audience, with a particular focus on engaging younger generations both as participants and as visitors (Ukrainians in Belgium and neighboring countries).
