I am a writer, poetess, film director, and former journalist, with a Bachelor’s degree in English translation. I write prose and poetry and am currently working on several literary projects — a detective novel, a utopian novel, and my first poetry collection. Recently, I published my debut book of philosophical visual poetry, The Princess and the Pearls of Time.
During the first year of the full-scale invasion, I worked at the European Parliament in Brussels, where I took part in various initiatives aimed at accelerating Ukraine’s European integration. It was in Belgium that I decided to begin making films, believing deeply in the strength and potential of Ukrainian cinema.
Until recently, I studied film directing at the Stockholm Film School and have just completed my short film about the realities of Ukrainian civilians during the full-scale invasion. I am open to creative collaborations and new artistic opportunities.
