Polina Polozhentseva is a Ukrainian playwright whose work has been staged in Ukraine and internationally, including multiple premieres in London.

Her play Save the Light was featured at the Transmission.UA festival in Lublin and later presented at a festival in Hong Kong. Other notable works include Don’t Flip Out (premiered in Kyiv at Wild Theatre in 2022) and Grandma and Grandpa Have Sex (premiered at the Theatre of Playwrights in Kyiv in 2023).

In London, Polina has had three premieres with a total of 17 performances. In 2022, Save the Light was staged at Barons Court Theatre. An audio drama based on the same text was later shortlisted at the Kent Audio Drama Festival. In 2024, her play A Fan of War premiered at Camden People’s Theatre (also has had a run in Barons Court Theatre). In 2026, The Village Where No One Suffers premiered at the Jack Studio Theatre.

She was also nominated for a Standing Ovation for the play The Village Where No One Suffers.
