Ukrainian
I am a Ukrainian naïve artist living and working in Lviv since 2020. I have been practicing art since 2023 and have participated in 13 group exhibitions.
I work with painting (my main medium), graphics, and occasionally sculpture and ceramics. The female nude is a central subject in my work. In my practice, I explore themes of women’s position in society, corporeality, and sexuality. Through my work, I aim to rethink the perception of the female body and present it as a strong and autonomous presence beyond imposed roles and expectations. I begin with a detailed rendering of the figure and then shape the emotional atmosphere of the work through bright color accents.
I am currently looking for opportunities to realize the exhibition project Intersecting Rhythms, created by five women artists. The project explores the phenomenon of collective resilience in contemporary Ukraine. We are interested in how mutual support and interaction help people navigate difficult times. The project includes painting, installation, collage, and traditional paper-cut techniques. We are looking for a curator and/or institution to realize this exhibition project in Europe.
