For the first time, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is accepting applications for a programme to support performers and music bands

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is accepting applications for the grant program “Contemporary Music Space”. The application deadline is February 15, 2026. The total program budget for 2026 is 20 million UAH.

The goals of the “Contemporary Music Space” program are to support projects that:

  • reflect on contemporary historical events and the War for Independence of Ukraine, boost the morale of Ukrainians and promote citizen mobilization through an active cultural stance;
  • counter the informational and cultural components of Russian expansion, transform meanings and form resilient narratives of national identity and solidarity;
  • use art as an active instrument of resistance, defending national space and promoting Ukrainian values and meanings worldwide;
  • combine traditional and contemporary practices, apply cutting-edge technologies and discover new ways of engaging with audiences even under crisis conditions;
  • highlight war themes, issues of temporarily occupied territories, internally displaced persons, veterans, Defenders of Ukraine and other persons affected by the war.

The program consists of two LOTs:

Who can apply:

  • the applicant for LOT “Professional Stage” may be a legal entity of any form of ownership or individual entrepreneur, each registered in the territory of Ukraine in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation for at least 3 years as of the competition announcement date, excluding temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine; must have relevant experience in cultural activities, particularly in music: organizing concerts and festivals, producing music projects, creating audiovisual music products, developing musical groups and implementing educational or cultural initiatives in the field of music;
  • the applicant for LOT “New Voices” may be a legal entity of any form of ownership or individual entrepreneur, each registered in the territory of Ukraine in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation for at least 6 months as of the competition announcement date, excluding temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
