The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is now accepting applications for the “Scholarships” Grant Program.

Starting November 18, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation has begun accepting applications for the “Scholarships” grant program. The submission deadline is January 5, 2026. The program is co-funded in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Priorities of the “Scholarships” program:

  • to provide opportunities for creating relevant cultural and artistic products that will reflect current trends, social processes, and contribute to the development of Ukrainian art and cultural identity;
  • to support artists, including persons with disabilities, IDPs, and veterans affected by the Russian Federation’s military actions, and provide them with opportunities for cultural and artistic activities;
  • to support projects focused on war-related themes through the creation of innovative cultural products, using modern digital technologies, applied research, and interdisciplinary approaches;
  • to support the implementation of projects aimed at rethinking cultural heritage, decolonizing Ukrainian culture, promoting the Ukrainian language, and generating a vision of Ukraine not only through the lens of war but as a state with powerful creative potential and distinctive cultural identity.

Who can apply:

  • scholarship recipients must be Ukrainian citizens who are at least 18 years old and conduct their professional activities in relevant cultural and creative industry sectors in the non-occupied territory of Ukraine.

Available funding amount:

  • total budget: 6.7 million UAH;
  • minimum grant amount (cannot be reduced): 50,000 UAH;
  • maximum grant amount (cannot be increased): 200,000 UAH.

Types of projects that can be implemented:

  • art objects: sculptures, installations, interactive objects;
  • performances: theatrical, dance, musical-performative events;
  • exhibitions and displays: classical, interactive, tactile, or adapted for people with limited mobility;
  • video and audio content: video clips, web films, video blogs, TV programs, podcasts, radio shows, music releases, and audiobooks;
  • original materials: scripts, plays, musical scores; 3D models and reconstructions of monuments and cultural heritage objects;
  • adapted inclusive digital products and accessibility measures (sign language interpretation, subtitles, audio descriptions, tactile elements), inclusive performances and concerts;
  • folk crafts, handicrafts, and decorative applied works;
  • research in the field of Ukrainian culture and cultural heritage.

How to participate:

  • Review the competition instructions, which include the calendar and application selection procedure, as well as answers to all possible questions.
  • Register on the UCF website as an applicant.
