SUMMARY:Summer Schools 2026 in Krakow. Open Call for Female Artists and Cultural Professionals
DESCRIPTION:The “Ukrainian Woman” project invites female artists and cultural professionals from Ukraine and across Europe to apply for the first Summer Schools 2026 in Krakow.\nThe Summer Schools are designed as a practice-oriented programme combining artistic development\, professional skills\, and international networking. Participants will engage in workshops\, lectures\, and collaborative sessions led by experienced artists\, curators\, and cultural professionals. The programme also includes a social and networking programme featuring cultural visits\, meetings with local art communities\, and networking events designed to create lasting international connections. \nPractical Information\n\nDates: 18–22 June 2026\nLocation: Krakow\, Poland\nVenue: Galicia Jewish Museum\nWorking Languages: English and Ukrainian\nNumber of Participants: 20\n\nParticipants will take part in intensive thematic modules focused on: \n Artistic Practice & Research\n International Cultural Cooperation\n Project Development\n Branding & Promotion\n Collaborative Creation & Exchange \nEligibility\nThe programme is open to Ukrainian female artists and cultural professionals who are motivated to develop artistic projects and international collaborations. \nApplicants must: \n\nbe active participants in the Ukrainian Woman Project;\nbe registered on the Cultural Communication Platform;\ncomplete the application form within the open call deadline.\n\nHow to Apply: Applicants are invited to submit their  Application Form through the open call \nApplication deadline: 29 May 2026 \nParticipation Conditions\nParticipation in the programme is free of charge. \nThe organisers provide: \n\nfull accommodation costs for all participants;\ntravel reimbursement up to 150 EUR.\n\nDetails regarding accommodation\, location\, and logistics will be shared with selected participants. \nFor any questions\, please contact: info@ipublicdiplomacy.com \nAbout the Project\nThe Ukrainian Woman project is funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The project aims to develop a community of artists that supports Ukraine’s cultural identity and strengthens its visibility on the global cultural scene. \nThis initiative is an important step towards the development of creative projects and innovative approaches focused on sustainable development. We support Ukrainian artists both in Ukraine and abroad in gaining new knowledge\, building international partnerships\, and developing new cultural projects. \nThe project facilitates cooperation between women artists and creative sector professionals from Ukraine and the European Union. We aim to strengthen the co-creation of high-quality artistic collaborations\, as well as their presentation\, dissemination\, and long-term impact.
